N A M E. Hikari "Arash" Akiyama
The name "Hikari" was very girly, and he got teased about it. Instead, he decided he wanted to be called "Arash" which held the same meaning as his name but was cooler-sounding for him, like the hero of the story his grandma used to tell him.

P E R S O N A L I T Y. Completely inept in both actions, Hikari is very wacky, scatterbrained and seemingly unreliable. This, however, isn't complete true. He's a hard worker and hardly a slacker, but he does have an almost ADHD-like inability to focus on one thing at a time that isn't physical. There are other things that make up Hikari that everyone knows too: aside from being the class joker, is that he's an exceedingly nice guy who isn't afraid of doing what he thinks is right.

s t r e n g t h s.
- Hikari is amazing at any physical sport
- As long as there is a practical application to it, he can learn theoretical chemistry. In fact, learning to apply it in life is his way of learning the subject.


w e a k n e s s e s.
- He's not very smart, though, outside of his favorite subjects. In fact, he's rather dull.
- Despite how great he is at mixing things up, he cannot, for the life of him, cook.
- As long as it's a woman, he can't ever be rude or say no. In fact, he's downright gentlemanly toward them, to the point of being their servant.

H I S T O R Y.
Hikari, or Arash as he would like to be addressed, is the only child of his family and, being raised by his grandmother in a small shop in Nishimori, Arash has lived in for almost as long as he was born and knows Kirimori like the back of his hand (only better.)

While his area was rather boring in the daytime, it was still the red light district of the city, so Arash grew up knewing things that he shouldn't know so early in life. His grandmother, who couldn't shelter him from most of it, knew that while she couldn't do much if knowledge was known, she instead gave Arash some life lessons that he took to heart.

"Be polite, do your best at everything but be humble, never disrespect women, please call ahead if you're not going to be home early and don't drink from the carton."

Knowing very well that he was a brash hothead, Arash stuck to these tenets as much as possible, and did his best at everything he did (even though for most, he came by averagely or below it.) He still, to this day, cannot stick to the last tenet, but he tries.

T R I V I A S.
- Hikari lives in Nishimori, and his house is is attached to the bathhouse
- He hates his hair because it's always unruly, but he won't cut it so he just ties it down in an ineffective attempt to tame it.
- He takes on some part-time jobs to help his grandmother with their living expenses.
- Despite his insistence, he is still called Hikari by his grandmother and is one of the few people he'd allow to.
